case study

 CASE STUDY
Information Technology (IT) us just like a bundle of all these things:
The water piping system; the electrical lining system; the bicycle;
Roads and highways; the library; the printing press ; the telephone; the airplane; and many more. A career in IT is not a DEAD-END JOB; it’s a continuous learning and innovating a lot of things.
Information Technology is concerned with improvements in a variety of human and organizational problem-solving endeavors through the design, development, and use of technologically based systems and processes that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of information in a variety of strategic, tactical, and operational situations. Ideally, this is accomplished through critical attention to the information needs of humans in problem-solving tasks and in the provision of technological aids, including electronic communication and computer-based systems of hardware and software and accomplished through critical attention to the information needs of humans in problem-solving tasks and in the provision of technological aids, including electronic communication and computer-based systems of hardware and software and associate process. Information technology complements and enhances traditional engineering through emphasis on the information basis for engineering, hardware and software of computing and communications form the basic tools for information technology. These are implemented as information technology systems through use of systems engineering processes. While information technology and information systems engineering does indeed enable better designs of systems and existing organizations, it also enables the design of fundamentally new organizations and systems such as virtual corporations. Thus, efforts in this area include not only interactivity in working with clients to satisfy present needs but also awareness of future technological, organizational, and human concerns so as to support transition over time to new information technology-based services.

Water piping system and Information Technology
Water piping system transports water from the source to the different homes and establishments through pipes or tubes .It lessen the man power required to do the work since only the pipes or tubes serve as the delivery boy in the system. Identical to the water piping system, IT experts are able to do a system or program which do a certain work or task that is lengthy and sometimes costly if done by a person but just several clicks when run by a program. Such common and simple works or tasks are the computations of grades, buy and sell of products, access of information, solutions to the mathematical and logical problems, communication and many more. IT
is also like a distribution of water since they help people through critical attention to the information needs of humans in problem-solving tasks and in the provision of technological aids, including electronic communication and computer-based systems of hardware and software and associated process.

Electrical lining system and Information Technology
Electrical lining system transmits electricity through the wires which are connected to the consumer’s homes and establishments to provide a services .The same with the water piping station. IT is somewhat similar to the electrical lining system since, it transmits information from source then process the information to generate results. Finally, distribute the results to the clientele.

Bicycle and Information technology
Bicycles are the principles means transportations in many regions. It allows people to travel for leisure into the country but reduced crowding in miner-city tenements by allowing workers to commute from spacious dwelling in the suburbs. Such in IT, people will have less energy and money in doing something through simple but efficient use technological advancement. A particular example is the use of Microsoft word instead of writing with bare hands or even with typewriters.

Roads and Highways and Information technology
Roads and Highways are route on land between two places and a major road connecting two or more destinations respectively, to allow travelers move to. IT also is a way in which two or more people are able to transfer one thing to another such as the online buy and sell of products. IT becomes a tool in which buyer and seller meets for its primary purpose.

Printing press and IT
Printing press is a machine that makes printed copies. The same with IT, it is able to reproduce without redoing the process.

The Library and IT
Library is a place where literary or reference materials such as books, manuscripts, recording or films are kept for use but not for sale. In other words a collection of such materials. Identical to that, IT collects information and stored it for future use. Moreover, it is as library compressed to be contained in one unit and is portable.
The Telephone and IT
As telephone is an instrument for transmitting and receiving sounds over long distance. It also transmits data or information from the collected information. Send it to different connections around the globe IT also enable people from different places to have international communications.
The Airplane and IT
Airplane is any form of various wangled vehicles capable of flight. With an airplane, it is possible to visit all places around the world without touching the ground. Through IT, people can travel around the world without much expense however without really touching the place. It also allows people to have a glimpse to the physical world and beyond.

IT is not a dead end job. As human beings strive to continuously improve and his environment or context, IT professional’s content to developed systems that aid to the increasing demand of human development. Today modern technologies are continuously innovating. Thus to become a IT professional, is to become brave to face the challenge of not just maintaining what we have now but to surpass what they had accomplished.
